Monitor pressure, temperature, and humidity via a web browser.
The OMEGA® iBTHX transmitter lets users monitor and record barometric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, and dew point via a web browser over Ethernet or the internet — no dedicated software required. The iBTHX displays real-time readings on a web page, showing charts for pressure, temperature, humidity, and dew point, or records data in standard formats compatible with spreadsheet or data acquisition programs such as Excel or Visual Basic. The virtual chart viewed on the web page is a Java™ applet that records charts in real time over a LAN or the internet. With the iBTHX, users no longer need to spend time or money learning dedicated software just to log data or plot data trends.

BTHX Series — Product Description
Display and Chart Measurements
The iBTHX transmitter is equipped with barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity probes for single-location measurement. OMEGA offers 5"-long industrial probe options for indoor environmental applications.
Award-Winning Technology
The iBTHX is easy to install and simple to operate. This product uses OMEGA’s award-winning iServer technology, which runs directly through a standard web browser — no dedicated software required. The iBTHX connects to Ethernet via a standard RJ45 connector and transmits data as standard TCP/IP packets. Using a web browser, users can easily configure the iBTHX through simple menus, with optional password protection.
From within a local Ethernet LAN or over the internet, users can type its IP address or an easy-to-remember name — such as “Cleanroom 5” or “ServerRoom” — directly into any web browser, and the iBTHX serves a web page displaying current readings.
Email Alarms
All OMEGA iBTX models connected to the internet via a LAN can trigger alarms and send emails to users or distribution lists anywhere in the world, including messages to mobile phones or PDAs.
New iBTX-SD with SD Flash Card and LCD Display
The OMEGA iBTX-SD with LCD display adds several highly valuable features to the on-site backlit display for temperature and barometric pressure.
SD Flash Card
The iBTX-SD includes a swappable 2 GB SD flash card, capable of storing up to 7 years of data at 10-second reading intervals.
Recording on SD Flash Card
Data is logged to the widely used SD (Secure Digital) flash card. The format is a simple text file that can be easily imported into spreadsheets and other programs. The SD card can be read on a PC or Mac via USB, or data can be downloaded remotely over Ethernet or the internet.
Alarm Relays
The iBTX-SD features two 1.5 ampere relays. Through a simple web setup page, the two relays can be programmed for any combination of high and low setpoints for temperature or pressure. Relays can also be programmed to latch and require manual reset if limits are exceeded.
Backup Battery
The iBTX-SD includes a universal 100–240 Vac power adapter. A standard 9-volt alkaline battery (also included) can power the device for data logging for up to 2 days without AC mains. Ethernet failure will not interrupt data recording.
