With the CL541-PLUS calibrator, you can check and calibrate all thermocouple instruments and measure thermocouple sensors. Auto-indication on the display shows connections for simple setup. Take it into the shop, plant, or field with confidence. It features a rubber boot and rugged slim-switch protection. Easy to operate even in dark areas of the plant with the backlit display screen. Stop carrying mV sources and thermocouple tables — calibrate directly in temperature (°C and °F).

The CL541-PLUS calibrator works with the T/C types you use, including J, K, T, and E. The adjustable digital potentiometer “DIAL” allows any value to be quickly set to within 0.1°, and three temperatures can be stored for instant recall. Quickly calibrate with auto output stepping: select 2, 3, 5, 11, or 21 steps, automatically increasing output by 100%, 50%, 25%, 10%, or 5%. Select step time to match your system: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 60 seconds. Connect directly to thermocouple inputs of smart transmitters, PLCs, controllers, and multi-channel recorders to verify their output or display. Measure and troubleshoot thermocouple sensor connections to find open wires or high-resistance junctions. Connect the sensor and the CL541-PLUS calibrator automatically measures the thermocouple in °C or °F.
