The new OMEGA CL900 dry-block furnace temperature probe calibrator quickly and easily calibrates thermocouples and RTD probes with an accuracy of 0.9°C (1.5°F). The integrated RTD sensor ensures high measurement accuracy and repeatability. The built-in microprocessor-based PID digital controller ensures excellent stability. Setpoint and actual temperature are displayed simultaneously. Temperature can be set in one-degree increments from 22°C (40°F) above ambient to 482°C (900°F).

The CL900 calibrator accepts a variety of standard and metric optional inserts, available in 4" and 6" depths with probe diameters from 1/8" to 3/8". Undrilled inserts are also available. The CL900 includes a 1/4" diameter, 6" deep insertion hole and a insert clamp. Other inserts for other diameter probes can be ordered separately as required. The 6" depth insert is for probes 7" and longer; the 4" depth insert is for probes 5" and longer.

The CL950 calibrator features built-in holes with 5 ports accommodating 1/16", 1/8", 3/16", and two 1/4" diameter probes. The multi-port design allows calibration or NIST-traceable probes and instruments to be used as standards while calibrating other probes. The 5-port design also allows multiple probes to be calibrated at once, without needing separate insertion holes.
