The 2-5000 series Minihelic II differential pressure gauge is compact, small in size, low in price, and highly accurate, making it widely used in situations where monitoring very low differential pressure is needed. The Minihelic II is a fully functional analog differential pressure gauge with a pressure rating of 30 psig, and it's our smallest differential pressure meter. It can be easily panel-mounted with a 2-5/8” diameter hole on the panel. The standard setup comes with push-in connectors, but 1/8” NPT male connectors are also available. It has overpressure protection, so as long as the pressure stays below the rated limit, the instrument won’t be damaged. Its front panel and back cover can be removed, making it easy to service and maintain.
The differential pressure gauge features a fiberglass housing and an acrylic face, giving it long-lasting durability and the ability to handle higher pressures. It has a 5% accuracy, is inexpensive, and is particularly suitable for various OEM equipment such as fume hoods, medical ventilators, air sampling units, laminar flow hoods, air handling units, and more. The Minihelic II differential pressure gauge is best for applications that don’t require the super high precision, sensitivity, and ultra-low differential pressure measurement provided by a Magnehelic gauge.
● The casing is made of nylon injection molded with fiberglass reinforcement.
● The pointer stop block is made of molded rubber to prevent damage when the pointer exceeds its range.
● The wide-angle lens dial is made of acrylic and can be removed.
● The aluminum scale plate is lithographically printed, with black characters on a white background, making readings clear.
● The pointer has a red tip for high visibility and is mounted on the fixed helical shaft.
● The cross-arm accessory assembles the helical shaft, helical bearing, and pointer shaft together.
● The jewel bearings allow the helical shaft to move frictionlessly.
● The helical shaft is precisely made from a high magnetic permeability alloy. With the jewel bearings, it moves smoothly and rotates the pointer to indicate the scale.
● The helical shaft, together with the jewel bearings, uses magnetic force to move the pointer and indicate the scale.
